Kaityln Woodward - Training Cert IV in Veterinary Nursing
Trainee Veterinary Nurse
Growing up Katie has been involved with animals of all shapes and sizes. She has owned everything from small bunnies to large horses. From the age of six she knew she wanted to work with animals. Her passion started whilst growing up on a cattle station in New South Wales which has led her to Canberra, following her dreams of studying and working in the veterinary industry. She is eager to learn the world of small animal medicine to better care for the furry companions in all our lives.
Kameel Amod - Training Cert IV in Veterinary Nursing
Trainee Veterinary Nurse
Kameel is a junior veterinary nurse who is currently completing his Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing while undergoing training at Melba Veterinary Clinic.
Kameel was born and raised in South Africa where he grew up with a Husky and German Shepherd cross that engrained his love for big dogs. As well as this, Kameel befriended the neighbourhood cat that would come to see him and so his love for animals started to grow.
He developed a mission to find out how to help animals and improve their lives to the best of his ability. He’s incredibly motivated through his Certificate IV and hopes to learn even more in the future to help as best as possible. He doesn’t have his own pet yet because of where he lives but he’s excited for when he can finally adopt his own! Till then, in his spare time, he likes to play games, skateboard, watch movies or YouTube and he also loves a good hike.
